Eiger North Face

The famed north face of the Eiger, called the Nordwand. The Eiger is located in the Swiss Alps, and the Nordwand is one of the hardest climbs in the world, especially so in the summer season when the face becomes very loose. The Nordwand is nicknamed the 'Mordwand', or 'Murder Wall', due to the 60 climbers who have died attempting it since 1935.
