Piz Badile North Face

The famous north face of Piz Badile, one of the six great faces of the Alps. Piz Badile is a 3,308 meter high peak on the border of Italy and Switzerland, first ascended by W. A. B. Coolidge with guides F. and H. Dévouassoud on 27 July 1867. The north face was first ascended by Alfred Zürcher with the guide Walter Risch on 4 August 1923.
