Ascending the Flying Dutchman Couloir on famous Longs Peak. Longs Peak is the most popular 14er in Colorado, and is in fact on the back of the state's commemorative quarter. It is also the deadliest. On average, one person dies climbing Longs every year (according to the National Parks Service).
