View from Longs Peak Keyhole

The Keyhole on Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado is a distinctive notch in the mountainside 1/4 of a mile from the top. Longs Peak is one of Colorado's most popular climbs and the standard Keyhole route requires no technical climbing. Be sure to be off the mountain before the afternoon, as thunderstorms are frequent, and Longs Peak is known as being very deadly due to lightening strikes.
